2) In our original piece we were told by our Pittsburgh sources that the deal would be in place before the playoffs. However with the number of out side cities beginning to line up for the Penguins, and a deadline fast approaching state officials finally got off their collective asses and decided this needed to get done NOW
3) Our sources tell us the overall good play of the team, and ofcourse having one of the best young players to break into the NHL in many a year, "significantly helped" get this deal done. The details of the plan are probably going to be released later today or tomorrow. Congrats Pens fans!

ok ya i am a canadian guy...my country didn't get attacked by terrorists, so i don't feel the same guttural reaction that you guys might when bin ladens name is mentioned...but what the hell does this have to do with hockey...if this is some faux poster looking for a reaction i guess he has achieved his goal..but get over it...as for the pens, that deal hasn't been signed yet....don't hold your breath. eeeks rant over friday night, tipped a phew, je m'accuse.
About time the Pens stayed put....though it is bad news for some Wings fans who really wanted realignment so they could move back East. The kicker is some of the top brass in the organization have openly said they want to move back East.

1) Hey Antz, as you may recall in our October monthly Blogger meeting we decided that we wouldn't erase any posts unless they were Spam oriented
2) The BinLaden imposter(we assume) as distasteful as it is, isn't erased for the above reason. We have no idea if that silly writing means anything anyway. We have a feeling who it really may be.
1) Steven, don't expect Detroit to be going back East even if there is realignment. We could foresee the Preds or Blue Jackets coming over, but the Wings are going to stay
