yeah its hard to blog and gourge on turkey and fixings at the same time...or could it be that the team here at faux are closet football fans..and don't wanna miss the orgy of pigskin that is the american thanksgiving.
Hey wanted to wish ya a great holiday today. Also, congrats on getting yet another rumor correct. Surprised that you haven't yet mentioned that you seemed to be the only one who had Hitchcock going to Columbus over 2 weeks before everyone else.
Anyway, looking forward to your next posting. Any news this holiday?
probably best to report and comment on what you hear, rather to lay claim to being the guys who 'broke' a specific story....as for the hitchcock thing, didn't take a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that hitchcock might end up in columbus..i for one was thinking he might end up in pheonix, problem being that gretzky hasn't quit, yet...

2) We talked with FAUXRUMORS this morning. They said they were happy that the Hitchcock rumor panned out, but it wasn't a huge deal. If others wanted to give them credit, thats fine, but its much less of a huge deal then the DiPietro/Gagne/Zherdev, etc rumors that FAUXRUMORS had first
I guess Hitchcock going to the Jackets wasn't a big deal, but I don't recall they as being the front runner, or even in the mix 3 weeks ago when I first read Faux's post.
Like faux 2 said, this site has had plenty of firsts that dwarfd this one anyway. Thats why i check them at least 2-3 times daiky
Perhaps FAUX didn't make a big deal about Hitchcock and the Jackets because he is EMBARASSED by the fact that I (HockeyNutz) scooped him by an entire day!

2. I also proved that his information about Gagne and about Zherdev was preceeded in the mainstream media by 1 (gagne) and 2 (Zherdev 3) days.

I've been a follower of this and several other blogs that say they can or try to predict player movement. This one seems to always have the others beat cold.

1. Poor "little" Hitchcock. He had to stand there behind the bench last night and watch his "old" guys defeat his "new" guys.
2. The Flyers certainly aren't as bad as their record indicates to this point, but firing Hitchcock seemed to me to be complete and utter desperation.
