Faux Dead On!

Just a quick post to pat ourselves on our backs this morning. Apparently 2 of FAUXRUMORS most recent rumors have been proved true.
Firstly, even with the entire media, and several of the more notable rumor sites having the Flyers Gagne situation all but at a stale mate, we predicted that it would soon be resolved. Bob Clarke is the most untrustworthy GM in the game. Hint: Take whatever he says and assume the exact opposite
Next, many yesterday, including the rumor-whore(Eklund) had DiPietro barred from Islander training camp, and Biron traded from Buffalo to be their starter. Today we hear that what FAUXRUMORS has been saying all along appears to be correct. Apparently Wang and DiPietro's agent are working on a 10-15 year deal. No other media outlet except FAUXRUMORS had mentioned this as a possibility.
As always keep it here for the latest and most reliable hockey rumors!

I wonder if NHL by-laws allow for a owner to be relieved of command if he/she shows signs of significant psychological illness?
Certainly this apparent 15 year deal for a 25 year old unproven goaltender should suffice. Even in a vacuum it would seem to be enough. Add to that the Yashin 10 year deal, and the Neil Smith/Garth Snow/committee nonsense, you'd hope Gary Bettman would start to wonder if the Islanders are being run by a mentally ill person.

So, since all your predictions have been right lately, what about the Devils? Who are they going to trade? Are the Habs done or they are still looking to add another centreman?

As far as the devils, we have been hearing pretty consistently that the devils, Lararello specificly, do NOT plan to trade any of their big names.
However that can always change if the right deal came along, but for all intents and purposes, neither Gomez or Gionta are on the block.
That also doesn't mean that a Bryelin, or second tier player won't be moved.

Getting reliable news about the Habs is almost as difficult as it is concerning the Leafs. Seems almost every available player is rumored to be going to Toronto, and every Franco-phone is going to Montreal.
We have not heard any credible rumor about a forth coming Montreal deal. However Bob Gainey runs a very tight ship, and rumors concerning the Habs usually eminate from the other involved team, not his.

Thanks for the insight 'rainbow. I believe our editor may have some dyslexia issues, but we're fairly certain most of our loyal readers understand who we're talking about.
