Best Wishes to FR2!

As many of our friends in the hockey blog world know one of the founding members of this blog, fauxrumors2, is currently undergoing some legal challenges. While he is currently incarcerated we do expect that after his Monday morning appearance he will be released.

I do not want to get into a lot of detail about what has happened but I can pass the following details on to you, which I got directly from FR2 himself:

1. He is doing fine, healthy and fine, just a little rattled from the whole situation.

2. The charges (5) stem from activities a couple of months ago.

3. FR2 stands firmly behind his story that at the time the guy in question told him that he was 18 and not underaged.

4. FR2 was unaware of the legal drinking age in the state in question, and while he should have known this, he was simply sharing his alcohol with a new friend, not deviously trying to intoxicate an underaged teen.

5. FR2 denies the youth had about 12 drinks in him. FR2 also says that the male youth was coherenet and conscious throughout their entire sexual encounter.

6. While it turns out that the male youth in question is under 18, FR2 did not know that at the time or FR2 would have stayed clear.

7. While the male youth was tied up for the encounter this was all part of the activities and not some kidnapping or imprisonment action. Once the 'fun' was over he was untied. The accuser was 100% willing in all that went on.

8. This youth continued to badger FR2 via cellphone text messages looking for another rendevous which FR2 repeatedly denied, simply because the kid wasn't very good in the sack!

I have known FR2 for a very long time. While both he and I do like our guys a little on the younger side, I can honestly tell you that neither he or I have ever knowingly ventured under the legal age. This is 100% a complete misunderstanding.

Luckily the Fauxrumors family has some best criminal lawyers in this field at their disposal. We have the financial means to beat these ridiculous charges and look forward to having FR2 cleared and out of incarceration soon.

Our thoughts are with you bud!
