Playoffs So Far

Well, upon the completion of the first weekend things seem to have lined up exactly like Fauxrumors had called.


West:

Out west things are not as Wild as many predicted. The Wings are dominating over the Predators. While the Preds did show some bite, the Wings simply laughed in their faces and took the game. One down side to the Wings is the new clean shaven Darrin McCardy. The entire Fauxrumors crew thought he was a lot sexier with that chin hair.

The Sharks stumbled but have now shown the Flames who is best. Keenan and the overrated crew of Dion Faneuf, Mikka Kippersoff, and the most overrated of them all Jarome Igginla will be whimpering home in 5.

While many are stunned at the Ducks stumbles against the Stars, but we at Fauxrumors aren't. We felt that it wouldn't be long before Brian Burke screwed things up in Duckland, and his interfering ways with the club has already soured the mood in the Ducks dressing room. Look for the Ducks to be out in 4.

Minnesota and Colorado is just like it was build. Boring trapping hockey. Yawn and no further comment needed.

East:

The Habs are dominating the Bruins in every aspect of the game. The series is 2-1 but that will be as close as the Bruins will get. The Devils and Rangers are playing some of the most boring hockey in the playoffs. Marty Brodeur is showing how washed up he is and is the reason the Devils won't stand a chance.

The Flyers and Caps are proving to be an interesting series. The high flying Capitals against the pounding physical game of the Flyers. Will cheap shots or slap shots win this series?

The Sens have been a no-show so far in the playoffs which is surprising to nobody. But what about Yummy Ryan Malone. No wonder the Senators seem distracted on the ice. I'd like to polish his stick sometime!
