We have the inside scoop and will once again duplicate our near perfect predictions from last year!
So here we go...
Eastern Conference:
Montreal (1) vs. Boston (8) - the FR team is going against the grain on this one and nailing down the Bruins in 5. Yes the Habs are good, but the Bruins will strike fast and this series will be over before the Habs have a clue about what went on.
Pittsburgh (2) vs. Ottawa (7) - we are no idiots. Bettman wants Sid the Kid in the Cup and the fix is in. Pens in 6.
Washington (3) vs. Philadelphia (6) - As much as Bettman wants Sid the Kid in the Cup, he would also love an Ovechkin/Crosby Eastern Conference matchup. Caps in 4.
New Jersey (4) vs. NY Islanders (5) - Garth Snow is as incompetent as they come. With his leadership the Isles will fail out. If it was possible to lose in 3 they would. Devils in 5.
Western Conference
Detroit (1) vs. Nashville (8) - I am no fool, Wings in 7. The Wings may take a bit to get started, but will prove to outclass the Preds.
San Jose (2) vs. Calgary (7) - Keenan will destroy the Flames faster then the highly overrated Iginla can. The Sharks will feast on the Flames and dominate them in 4.
Minnesota (3) vs. Colorado (6) - Colorado got on a roll just to make the playoffs. Will they be burned out or burning hot. Joe Sakic will show the way. Avs in 5.
Dallas (4) vs. Anaheim (5) - This is a close one to call. Dallas started strong but tailed off, the Ducks started slow and finished strong. So close to call, but I will take the Stars in 7. Home Ice will prevail.
