Two Minor Deals Today

1) Just a prelude to bigger deals to come or will this be the trend of teams trading salary for like salary. Dumping unwanted trash. So far that's what can be said of the 2 deals so far today. The Hurricane re-obtained underachieving Czech forward Josef Vasacek from Nashville for center Eric Belanger. The 6'5" Vasicek has been a disapointment in his first go around with the 'canes. Frequently in coach Laviolette's dog house. Its surprising they decided to get him back. We guess it was a case of 'better the devil you know....'.
2) The other minor deal today involved the Minnesota Wild dealing their seldomly used forward Pascal Dupuis to the Rangers in exchange for Adam Hall. We have a feeling this isn't the deal Ranger fans were expecting. They will be disappointed in this acquisition as Pascal is NOT the answer to their most pressing issues, better defense, a second line center!
3) A note that none of the rumor mongers had this one on their radars (when do they have any?) We're sure they'll take this opportunity to let us know that these are the prelude to some real deals, or that these are setting the tables in NY for their big deal, etc. As always come here to FAUXRUMORS for all the latest rumors, commentary, etc. Unfiltered, and not afraid of the truth.

"Minor" is an understatement - neither of these guys will make any kind of impact on the playoff push... If Dupuis had anything in his game right now, the Wild wouldn't have dealt him... Pascal's 10 minutes of fame is long gone... And, Vasicek belongs in the Kvasha/Antropov category... CLOWNS!!!!!

Nice that you criticize the other rumor sites for missing this one...yet I do not seem to see a post anywhere on this blog mentioning these rumors!

2 Weeks...2 Rumors...wow site is on FIRE!

1) We agree Antz neither of these deals will tip the balance of power in either conference.
2) As we are a FREE site we don't have to answer to customers so we don't post erroneous rumors to keep the faithful happy. Therefore we feel it well within reason that we criticize those that charge money for inside information and deliver Zip, zero nada.

Your FREE site has offered nothing...so good thing you don't charge.

Your rival that you continually critcize for charging has posted 50 rumors in the past 2 weeks, has called one correctly and all this from the FREE side of his blog. Not to mention the free chat he runs daily from his site where he responds to questions about the rumors and specific teams.

I guess you get what you pay for hey...your site costs NOTHING so you give your few readers NOTHING!

You have mentioned 4 times in the past 2 weeks that there is a ton of talk going on with the GM's and yet you have nothing to report from your 'sources'.?

ANd hey...were you not planning on "Outing" Eklund? What happened? Your Russian Mobster having trouble smuggling the Microfilm into the country?

Hilarious!

LOL!

You guess it was a case of the "Devil you know"...or the fact that you had no clue another deal was in the works.

Not only do you not list any rumors over the past 2 weeks you missed 6 trades of varying degrees involving the movement of 21 players (counting Belanger twice) from 12 different teams...looks like your sources are missing something!

Predator GM David Poile said in the press conference that Vishnevski was on their radar for a long time and that he had been working on this deal for nearly a month. I guess that one just snuck up on your insiders!

Question for you Faux...you mention repeatedly that there are MANY of you that write for this blog...how come not even one of the MANY of you can post on weekends? Is this some new Fauxreligion that doesnt beleive in using the Internet on weekends?

Check it out...all your posts are M-F...(other than the ones you will quickly change the dates on to say see)...

Hilarious!

According to the quote from Daryl Sutter on TSN website the Brad Stuart deal was in the works for about a month. Looks like the NORumors team missed another one.

Wow...you post two rumors in two weeks and miss two significant deals!

Apologies faux, I guess you got the Bruins trade right after all. Doing my paper route in this cold makes my eyes water so I don't see too good sometimes.

1) Please folks try to keep the comments rated R or less. The previous post had to be removed for excessive vulgarity. Well beyond what we find appropriate
2) Disagree with us if you want, but try to keep the discussion about hockey. The mention of family members was NOT necessary!

Hilarious once again Faux!

You show your true colors!

No mention of family members in that post...just a mention that the above comment by FauxHockeyNutz with no Avatar image is NOT by me...

Once again you manipulate your blog to hide the reality that you have NO RUMORS!

1) Thanks for keeping that post clean. Hillarious/silly/inane yes, rude/lewd no.
2) Geez man for someone who 2 months ago stated he was "never coming back ever" when we discovered/illustrated you lies, you seem to post as much as anyone else who visits here.
3) Feel free and continue. You posts only confirm what we wrote back then. Your obsessive, bordering on maniacal posts seem to show a deterioration in your mental health. For your own sake sir, find some help!

Hey Faux, thought ya might be interested in knowing that a young lad that fits the Nutz description perfectly was arrested by a couple of my buddies for indecent exposure. Too funny. Ya can't make this stuff up!

1) It doesn't surprise us at all Frank. We don't encourage our readers to discuss non hockey related items here, but the Nut certainly has brought that upon himself.
2) BTW, what is the current penalty in Alberta for that? He's probably a repeat offender. LOL
