Just to add to our earlier post. We hear at FAUXRUMORS stand behind our original post that Malkin does NOT want to play in Pittsburgh in the shadow of Sidney Crosby.
The recent deal with his former Russian team, along with the pens impending sale made it difficult to shop Malkin. However, if Malkin doesn't get off to an Ovechkin-like start, expect the trade rumors to again to begin to swirl around the 19 year old Russian phenom.

A little too conspiracy theoryish for me...i think the pens are going to hold onto the dynamic duo until, their rookie entry level contracts run out..then well if malkan is the real deal..the pens are going to have to make a decision as to which superstar to retain..i am thinking it will crosby, who by that point in his career, will probably be the best player on the planet, and well probably the highest payed.
I understand reluctance to believe when no others are saying these things, however in time more than likely the truth will leak out into the mainstream press
